Why are smoothies the best nutritious breakfast? Well, what you eat in the morning will determine what you want for the rest of the day. Although many people have jumped on the Fasting trend, the reality is that for most women, breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and sometimes it just doesn’t fit into our schedule the way it should.
“What you eat in the morning will influence what you want for the rest of the day.”
That is one of the phrases that has most impacted my students and that has helped them transform their eating habits for good.
What you eat in the morning will determine if you feel energized or feel swept away with a lack of energy.
Having the best breakfast you can possible put in your body, will give you a tremendous boost of enery for the day.
What we put in our bellies is directly related to how we feel physically. So if you’re one of those who skips breakfast and rely on coffee in the morning then this blog is totally for you.
We all need and crave energy. I know I know! Sometimes it’s so easy to want to grab a quick bowl of cereal or even forget breakfast and just spend the morning with 1-2 cups of coffee for the energy needed to survive the day.
But I don’t want you to survive throughout the day; I want you to thrive throughout the day.
The crash and crave roller coaster all day.
I also don’t want you to go on the crash and crave roller coaster all day. If you start the morning with caffeinated coffee and sugar, you’ll crash, and you’ll be too tired to fulfill your responsibilities or you’ll be looking for another cup of coffee to survive a few more hours.
Smoothies are the best nutritious breakfast because they are another quick alternative to a quick breakfast that can help us feel energized throughout the day.
When you mix greens, with some fruit, and a healthy liquid like coconut water, you are forced to feel energized and ready to take on the day.
Starting the day with a Smoothie also gives you well-needed antioxidants that help protect our body from free radicals, and is a great start to the day with low glycemic index.
Eating a nutritious breakfast with a low glycemic index will help curb sugar cravings throughout the day and also help you not have the typical “crash” of the afternoon, when you run out of battery and feel like eating sugar.
The next time you want a quick nutritious breakfast, try a delicious Smoothie that will leave you feeling energized and motivated.
A Smoothie in the morning will provide your body with the nutrients you need to produce natural energy and naturally increase your metabolism. So, what are you having for breakfast tomorrow morning? I know I’ll pull out my blender and prepare for lasting energy.
