Try this electrolyte drink instead store bought alternatives.
Electrolytes play very important functions in the body. The balance of these electrolytes is essential for conduction of nerve impulses (in your brain), normal muscle function (including your heart), and balance of the PH level to mention a few. Keeping the right balance of this minerals really comes down to proper nutrition, and hydration. Remember, you are about 60% water!

Potassium, Sodium and Chloride are some blood minerals called Electrolytes; meaning the carry a tiny electrical charge. This electrical charge enables them to conduct electricity and move electrical signals throughout the body, which are essential to keeping you alive, and your muscles, brain, and organs functioning.

Water and electricity are essential to your health. Fluid in your body contains things such as cells, proteins, glucose, and electrolytes. You obtain Electrolytes from the food and liquids that you consume. Salt, potassium, calcium, and chloride are other examples of electrolytes. Sweating, caffeine intake, alcohol, and sugary foods lead to a loss of important minerals.

Having adequate hydration is essential for a healthy colon as well. In the colon, liquid is removed from digested food so stool can be formed and eliminated from the body. When the body doesn’t receive an adequate water supply, constipation can be a problem.

This drink can help you hydrate, get refreshed, and provide your body with some important minerals. It is very easy to make, and inexpensive. I personally drink it often, and specially when I feel a bit dehydrated and plain water doesn’t cut it.
