I hated my legs for years…….I always thought my thighs were too chubby and that they didn’t have a nice shape……….not to mention the cellul….you know what….


I used to look at my sisters wearing tights jeans and leggings and wondering how come I didn’t get slim legs like them. I wanted to wear shorts, skirts and skinny jeans and I simply looked terrible in them.


When we went on holidays to the beach, I’d be wearing Capri pants and Bermuda shorts trying to hide as much of my legs as possible….


I felt so gross when my thighs rubbed against each other, just remembering that makes me feel so sorry for myself sometimes….


I admired other women who would walk around carefree on the beach in their bathing suit having a lot of extra weight on……I gave them a lot of credit for not caring what others would think, and I thought it would be cool to be like that, but I simply couldn’t do it…..


I’ve always been too self-conscious……. Are you like that too?


I felt so deflated that I ate more, trying to make myself feel better, and feel some comfort……then felt guilty, ashamed and mad at myself for not having control around food.


It was a horrible cycle that sunk me deeper and deeper each year…….


I used to set pretty unrealistic goals or resolutions for myself every end of the year….


My usual  goal  was to get a 6-pack abs, build a body like a fitness model and just feel amazing in my body, super confident, happy, be more out there, more sociable, etc……..


But I inevitably failed over and over…………I rushed, did crazy things like starving myself and workout like crazy……..My strategy was to go on a low-calorie diet, hit cardio hard, and lift weights…..


That’s what i knew would work……but a few weeks in, the frustration started, the plan wasn’t working anymore……


A low calorie diet worked for me the first time I tried, i lost a ton of weight! but ask me if it worked for me in my 30’s……..

No, it didn’t! , and it took me 20 years to realize that…….talk about insanity.


I’m smarter now…..Thank God! I can look at that as the past and feel glad I discovered a different way to achieve a realistic goal, that makes me feel proud of the body I created as I became healthier as well.


My sad journey dealing with eating disorders and weight gain led me into becoming a Weight Loss Coach, because I want to help women who have had similar weight and eating struggles like mine.


I know what it is to secretly feel gross about your own legs and stomach, and wishing you can change it…..


I know what it is to hide under clothes that just fit you, and not be able to wear the ones you really like….

I know what it is to feel worthless and deflated looking in the mirror and seeing someone unhealthy, sad and with extra-weight…..


I’ve been there….I’ve so been there…..


But today my stomach is flat again, my legs are toned, and I fit in my smaller clothes size 8!

In 2017 I saw my weight dropped 30 pounds, and I didn’t even try half as hard like I used to when I was starving with no results!


It’s been awesome to see my weight getting back to normal without feeling so miserable, depriving myself, and constantly fighting with food and my lack of control. A true miracle!
