I know  you’re fed up  trying to lose weight and find the “perfect” way to eat so you can improve your health and lose at least a few pounds.


You have probably even lowered your goal from the 20-30 pounds you wanted to lose, and would be happy if you could even lose 5!


Perhaps you  wonder  if you’ll ever be able to lose weight at all , and fit in those jeans you keep in the closet just in case. True story, I have 5 pairs of jeans and a few shorts that  I refuse to get rid of yet! 🙂


If this sounds like you, don’t give up yet. I am on a mission to help you lose weight if that’s  what you desire, and today I want to share a very simple change that you can start implementing now, to give  yourself a fresh start with this whole eating/losing weight thing.


You and I know that weight loss is much more complex than just changing what you eat and how much you exercise. You have been down the dieting path and you are over it, I am over it!


That said, I do believe that food still plays a big role in how we feel, how our body performs its functions, and our weight. And when you pair a healthy diet that works for you, with the right mind-set and lot’s of self-love and respect for yourself Weight loss is guaranteed!


I know it’s easier said than done, but  there’s a way to get there and it is step by step, little by little.


Each diet, each strategy, each food you have tried. Every expert you have listened to, Every  self-help book your have read or weight loss  program you have tried, all of it  has helped you get where you are now.


You and I are in constant evolution, and this is what life’s all about.


The fact that you are reading this blog post, shows that you are willing to learn and that you  want  to keep moving forward in your health and wellbeing.

If you have tried diets, pills and exercise routines that didn’t work, don’t regret any of it! Just cross them off your list and keep moving forward! Keep exploring and make sure to enjoy the process.


Keep this in mind:


A health and weight loss journey that is painful, full of self-attack guilt and judgement will never have a happy ending!


If you want a body and a life that you love, start injecting some love into your body and life  NOW! You get out, what you put in!


This might be a silly  example,  but it really is no different than  when you bake a cake! You can’t put junk in the batter, and expect to have a delicious cake in the end,  right?.


Small Action To Implement Today.


This is a very simple, but powerful practice  that you can start today to refresh your diet and weight loss strategy. In fact,  I have been practicing this for quite some time , and it works! It improves your digestion, makes you feel more satisfied and pleasured when you eat, and reduces cravings effortlessly.


However, i must warn you that for several people, it is the single most difficult thing to do……


Slow Down with food.


  • Whatever it is that you decide to eat today, I don’t care what it is, the muffin, the smoothie, the bread, the gluten, the salad, the latte, the wine, whatever you chose, chose to eat it! make a commitment to enjoy it, slow down, and allow yourself to be pleasured by it.
  • Allow more time for meals, if you eat breakfast in 5 minutes, make those 5 minutes slow, or make it 10 minutes.
  • Start to experience what it is to eat food, exercise your power of choice by actually choosing to eat what you are eating. Let go of the judgement.


I am not here talking about enjoying food because i have always done it, quite the opposite! I lived in constant apprehension around food for years. To me, enjoying food meant that i was probably eating something i shouldn’t be eating…..it was almost a sin!  


Through years of studying what it really takes to lose weight. I began to understand the multiple negative effects of rushing and being stressed out around food. It reverses and impedes weight loss!


It is the small steps that will take you where you want to go.
