Having a coach is similar to having a personal trainer. Not everyone needs a personal trainer to achieve their fitness and weight loss goals, but I know from having a trainer that I achieved my fitness goals much faster and with more confidence than without one. I was guided and motivated to exercise, encouraged, and held accountable to my fitness routine.
The benefits of having a Nutrition and Health Coach are similar. Coaching is a relationship and a process based on focus and commitment.
Health and weight loss nowadays can be more challenging to navigate given the vast amount of contradicting information available and lack of knowledge on how the body works. As a Health Coach I cut through the confusion, and provide you with a plan that works for you and only you.
Having a Health Coach brings you many wonderful benefits. Here are my favorites:
1. Having a Confidant with Your Best Interest in Mind
With a coach you will have someone in your corner, who is experienced and non-judgmental. As a coach I have your best interest in mind, your agenda is my agenda. During a coaching session you will have continuous one to one attention from someone who is committed to your success, the sessions and coaching relationship will be all about you.
2. Having someone who gives you the time and attention you deserve.
Time is such a precious commodity these days. No one seems to have time, however we all have the same 24 hours a day, and we decide how to use them. If you don’t have time for something it likely is not a priority.
I dedicate my time to help you figure out what is going on in your body, and your health. I have time to guide you on how to restore your health and create the body that you love.
3. A Coach Sees and Believes in Your Potential
Whether you believe it or not you already have what it takes to make the changes in your body that you desire. Coaching brings out the confidence in you, which is needed to create long-lasting change.
During coaching we uncover your strengths and motivations, yes you have those! And we use them to get you where you want to be. I help you shift your thinking so you can envision the ‘future, and work with you to create the plan to get there. Your potential is created by you. There are no limitations in you achieving your potential.
4. – A Coach will hold you Accountable to Your Plan and Goals.
How many times have you started a diet or exercise program and quit in the middle of it? How many times have you attempted to commit to improving your health, maybe you visited the health food store, grabbed some greens , a few supplements, and then got confused in the middle of it all?
As a coach I am your accountability partner. I check on your progress, and gently help you move from excuses, to taking accountability for what you have achieved and adjusting the plan to your needs.
I help you move into action by keeping you accountable. Keeping you accountable doesn’t mean telling you what to do, it means giving you the support and encouragement so that you can feel exactly how you want to feel in your body.
Is having a coach worth the Investment?
Think about how much you spent on your last vacation, your last vehicle, or spa retreat?
When it comes to healing and truly feeling your best in your body; vacations and material objects only give you temporary relief; however once the vacation is over or the novelty wears off, soon after you are back at square one- feeling tired, dragging yourself around on caffeine, wishing you had a different body, wishing your clothes fit better, wishing you could just eat without bloating, and wishing you didn’t have those added pounds on your waist.
Investing in your health and wellbeing will give you long-lasting rewards and satisfaction in many different areas of life. Having a coach allows you to transform yourself into the healthy, vibrant, and confident person that you desire to be.
Coaching with Jimena will speed up learning and give you clarity for forward action with a commitment to measurable and visible results. You make your investment back in optimal health, wellbeing and having the body that you love.
75% of chronic disease is preventable. A comparative small investment in yourself today, will reap compounding rewards over your lifetime, and the lifetime of your family. Increasing your health and wellness today will decrease your reliance on the disease management system, also called “Health Care” these days.
You can’t afford not to invest in a Health Coach.
